Rheumatoid Arthritis Research Study (Moderate to Severe RA)

🦴 About the Study

We are conducting a research study to better understand moderate to severe Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) by collecting blood and joint (synovial) fluid samples from adults living with this condition.

These samples help researchers study inflammation, disease progression, and support the development of future treatments.

  • Are 18 to 85 years old
  • Have a confirmed diagnosis of moderate to severe Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA)
  • Can provide a valid, government-issued photo ID
  • Are willing to review and sign an informed consent form
  • Can provide medical records confirming diagnosis (or other acceptable verification)

You may not qualify if you:

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding (with limited exceptions depending on blood volume)
  • Have conditions that increase risk during blood collection, such as:
    • Severe heart disease
    • Bleeding disorders
    • Severe kidney disease
    • Severe anemia

🏥 What’s Involved?

If you qualify and choose to participate, your visit may include:

  • Medical history review and diagnosis confirmation
  • Informed consent process (with time for questions)
  • Blood draw
  • Joint (synovial) fluid collection (performed by a trained physician)

All procedures are conducted by experienced medical professionals in a controlled clinical setting.

💲 Compensation:
Participants may receive compensation for their time and travel.

💉 No cost to you:

All study-related procedures are provided at no cost to you.

💡 Why Participate?

By joining, you can:
